I had a busy week with property owners, business owners, the Pride of Ticonderoga, and In-Site Architecture on Main Street Au Sable Forks last week.  We had a lot of great conversations about future enhancements to the buildings facades and interiors.  The work that was put in last week will be used to produce a document which will help us leverage a potential NY Main Street District Grant of up to $500,000.  This grant along with private funds will help our Main Street become prosperous once again.  I look forward to watching these seeds grow.

The Town of Jay Parks Committee will be holding several Spring Cleanup Days over the next few weeks.  On April 27th, in Upper Jay, they will be working on the small park next to the Post Office in conjunction with the Wells Memorial Library Cleanup.  On May 4th, in Au Sable Forks, cleanup of Henry’s Trail and the Grove Sports complex.  Lastly, on May 18th, in Jay, work to clean Douglas Memorial Park will take place.  Each date listed above will be from 10:00am until 12:00pm.  You can see the attached flyer.

The AWQR (Annual Water Quality Report) for the Au Sable Forks, Jay and Upper Jay Water Districts are available.  You can view them on our website: https://www.townofjayny.gov/documents-forms/ .  Every user will be receiving a copy by mail along with an update from Water Superintendent Paul Mintz.  We will also have a reminder for each user to fill out the lead service line inventory form.  If you have not done so, please visit this link: https://arcg.is/1n598T0

Hope you have a great week,

Matt.
