This week I met with Kelley Tucker of the Ausable River Association to discuss the storm which hit last week. We discussed the work done in the river in Upper Jay and how well the two locations withstood this flooding event. Last week we held our regular monthly Town Board meeting on Thursday evening. We discussed becoming a pro-housing community, agreed to fund the additional cost of the ADA upgrades to the Community Center using APRA and Occupancy Tax funds, and recognized Dan Deyoe and Adam Coolidge for their years of service to the Town of Jay.
