This past Thursday, the Town of Jay Town Board adopted the 2024 Budget for the town. This budget can be viewed on our website, as well as prior years’ budgets. The 2024 Adopted Budget is a tax levy increase of 5.9% or $125,018.70 over the 2023 Adopted Budget. The Town of Jay was awarded a New York Main Street Technical Grant for main street revitalization in Au Sable Forks in the amount of $20,000. The Pride of Ticonderoga helped submit and will help administer this grant, which is supported by Governor Kathy Hochul and the Housing Trust Fund Corporation (HTFC), recognizes our proposal in the 2023 Regional Economic Development Council (REDC) Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) round.
