Economic Development Opportunities
The Shipley Center for Innovation at Clarkson University, in collaboration with the Town of Jay, hosted an Entrepreneurship Night at the Community Center on Tuesday. There was great conversation and networking among the ten individuals who attended. The evening’s agenda was well structured, providing participants with valuable information about the resources available to start, expand, or transition their businesses as they approach retirement.

Water and Sewer Asset Management
This week, Paul Mintz and I met with MJ Engineering to review the final draft of the Asset Management Plan for our water and wastewater plants. These plans were fully funded through a grant administered by Essex County Community Resources.

The completed plans will help us manage maintenance and upkeep of our facilities and strengthen future grant applications to reduce costs for district users. The final documents and supporting spreadsheets will be submitted to the Town over the next few months.

Hope you have a great weekend,
Matt
