New York Association of Towns
This past week I was appointed to the New York Association of Towns (NYAOT) Resolutions Committee. NYAOT’s mission is to advocate on behalf of towns’ rights (Home Rule) at the state and federal levels; provide comprehensive education to town officials; and serve as a valuable resource and connection point for towns across New York State.

I regularly attend NYAOT’s monthly “Supervisor Roundtables,” which connect me with other Town Supervisors to discuss important issues such as staffing, legal guidance, budget training, and state and federal budget implications. These sessions have been a tremendous resource for the Town of Jay, providing both knowledge and opportunities that directly benefit our community.

Grove Road Update
The Town of Jay is moving forward with the Grove Road culvert repair near Green Street. This project has been awarded to Kubricky Construction for $483,869 and will be funded in part through our Consolidated Local Street and Highway Improvement Program (CHIPS). The kickoff meeting is scheduled for September 5, and the project is expected to be completed by December. Updates will be shared as they become available.
