NYSEG Smart Meters Last week, I attended an informational meeting with NYSEG regarding the upcoming upgrade to Smart Meters. Installations are scheduled to begin at the end of this month and continue through the end of August. NYSEG will notify customers ahead of time so they can prepare for a brief power outage during installation.
