On Thursday, August 1st, the Preservation League of New York State announced our award of a $9,500 grant to hire Adirondack Architectural Heritage, AARCH, to help us apply to create Au Sable Forks as a Historic District. This week Mountain Valley Mechanical installed the heat pump into the senior center. This unit and installation were paid for by grant funds we have received due to the efforts of the Town of Jay Climate Smart Task Force in the NYSERDA CEC (Clean Energy Communities) program. Town of Jay Public Hearings 8/8/24
The Town of Jay will be holding two Public Hearings prior to the next regular board meeting on Thursday 8/8/2024 at 6:00PM and 6:30PM. The Public Hearing at 6:00PM will be to hear public comments on the Town of Jay's community development needs and to discuss possible submission of one or more CDBG applications for the 2024 program year. As of 7/10/24 the Town Board has approved BRUSH to be accepted at the Town of Jay Highway grounds. Please call the office to schedule a drop off time 518 647-2204 Ext. 125 or 518-225-4599.
