Welcome to the Human Services Committee page for the Town of Jay. Our committee is committed to supporting the health, well-being, and quality of life of all residents in our community. We work in partnership with local organizations, service providers, and town leadership to connect individuals and families with vital resources, including senior services, mental health support, food assistance, housing programs, and more. Whether you’re looking for help or hoping to get involved, this page is your gateway to the services and support systems that make the Town of Jay a caring and connected place to live.

Ways to Get Involved with the Human Services Committee

• Attend Committee Meetings: Join our regular meetings to stay informed about local human services efforts, share your ideas, and help shape programs that support our community. Meeting agendas and minutes are available on the Town of Jay website.

• Volunteer for Outreach Events: Lend a hand with community outreach efforts such as health fairs, senior luncheons, and resource drives. Your involvement helps make these initiatives successful and impactful.

• Participate in Community Support Campaigns: Help promote and support campaigns related to food security, mental health awareness, housing assistance, and other critical services. Encourage neighbors to get involved or seek assistance when needed.

• Contribute Your Expertise: Whether you work in healthcare, social work, education, or community organizing, your knowledge can help improve services and expand access to support for those in need.

• Raise Awareness: Use your voice to spread the word about available human services and resources. Share updates on social media, post flyers, or talk with neighbors to ensure everyone knows help is available.
