Flood Readiness and Voyent Alert!
With spring just around the corner, we are keeping a close eye on the potential for flooding. This weekend and early next week, the forecast calls for warmer than normal temperatures and rain.
This week, I met with Essex County Emergency Services, the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Services (DHSES), and the Au Sable Forks Fire Department to discuss the risk of ice jams and flooding. Our goal was to ensure all agencies are on high alert and to stage necessary evacuation equipment in the event it is needed.

35th Annual Missing Children’s Tournament
The 35th Annual Missing Children’s Tournament returns to Au Sable Forks this weekend. Games kick off Friday evening, March 6th, and run through the championship games on Sunday afternoon, March 8th.
Games will be held at:
• Town of Jay Community Center
• Au Sable Forks Elementary School
• Holy Name Parish Center

Remote Worker Networking Event

Regular Town Board Meeting
Our monthly Town Board meeting is this Thursday at 7:00 pm at the Community Center.
We are pleased to welcome AuSable Valley Superintendent Mike Francia, who will join us to discuss the 2026-2027 school budget. As always, you can attend in person or join us online.
